The symposium will be held at congress center “Het Pand”, located in an old Dominican monastery in the heart of the city.

Travel Information

By public transport (recommended):

Het pand can be reached from train station Ghent Sint-Pieters by the tram line 1 (every 6 minutes).
From “Gent Zuid” you can take busses 16, 17, 18 or 19 (every 15 minutes).

In both cases, get off at the “Korenmarkt” and cross the river Leie via the bridge “Sint-Michielshelling”. Turn around the Sint Michaels church. Het Pand is situated next to the church.

By car:

Entering Ghent from the E40 or the E17, follow the parking-route to P7, “Sint Michiels Parking”. This parking is only 50m away from Het Pand.

Hotels

Singe and twin rooms (twin room: double room with 2 beds) have been block booked in Hotel Ibis Gent Centrum Opera . This hotel is within walking distance from the symposium venue.
Price, breakfast and city tax included, is 101.5 euro per night for single and 118 euro per night for twin rooms. The block booking (15 single and 20 twin rooms) is held until 1 November. After that date, rooms can be booked depending on availability.
